One night, in an attempt to recreate a cocktail they recently had at an upscale Los Angeles bar, the now partners of Dandy Del Mar began to experiment with all the available ingredients in the kitchen. Soon they were onto something and throughout the course of perfecting the drink through slight adjustments of the recipe, the cocktail inspired conversations of exotic travels and a lifestyle of leisure. What was born was a drink that was tasty, smooth and refreshing., and also a resortwear brand named Dandy Del Mar. 


  • ​1.75oz  Tequila Reposado
  • 1.75oz  Lime Juice
  • 0.25oz  Simple Syrup
  • 0.75oz  Coconut Milk
  • 1 Jalapeño
  • Tajin Seasoning


Muddle one small slice of jalapeño in shaker. Add tequila, lime, simple syrup and coconut milk and cubed ice. Shake. Use lime wedge to add juice to rim of glass. Roll the rim of the glass in Tajin. Add cubed ice and pour. Garnish with lime wedge and jalapeño.
